Quarantine Thoughts

Instead of going out we’re staying in, and who is it that we find there? Do we wear the same masks at home that we wear in public? What parts of our personality fade away when there are fewer people to impress or avoid?

In many ways our world has shrunk, but hasn’t it also expanded? Maybe you’ve always been aware of the butterfly’s wings; how a word you speak can impact the life of someone on the other side of the world, how your impact ripples so far from the center of yourself.

Or perhaps this is one of the first times in your life where you’ve really felt the truth of that. You’re acting on that truth by staying in. You’re expanding through your commitment to the contraction of life and living the lessons you’re learning here.

We’re all alone together. We’ve always been this way.
